CLAIRE C. THORPE, age 74 of Jefferson, WI passed away on July 9, 2022. She was born in Oconto, WI on July 18, 1947 to Clarence and Caroline (Laes) Carriveau. She married Howard "Mike" Thorpe in Stevens Point, WI on July 26, 1969. She received both her Bachelor's and Masters Degrees from UW-Stevens Point. Claire lived in Wisconsin Rapids from 1978 until 1998. Claire began her career in the nursing field, and later worked as a speech-language pathologist. He passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 28 at the age of 81. He was proceeded in death by his wife Elizabeth Vannettie (nee Beall) and his son Ed Vannettie.
