Terrance E. "Terry" Olson, 86, of Umatilla passed away on July 31, 2022 surrounded by his family. Terry was born November 14, 1935 to Edwin and Elma Olson on a small farm in Stanley, North Dakota. Terry began his working career at the age of 13, after graduating from grammar school, working for large grain farmers in North Dakota. At the age of 20 he moved to Williston, North Dakota where he worked at a service station for a year , then leasing a service station from the Continental Oil Co. Willis Lamar Hartley, age 83, died Friday, July 29, 2022. Mr. Hartley was born August 10, 1938 in Baxley, Georgia to the late Daniel Harvey Hartley and the late Mattie Estelle Gordon Hartley. He was a retired welder with Ferber Sheet Metal and a lifetime member of VFW 7909 Auxiliary. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Goosby, and a son-in-law, Kenneth Miller. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Frankie Hildebrand Hartley; daughters, Connie Hartley and Valarie (Gary) Cannon. Seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.
