Richard "Dick" J. Boaz, age 60, of Indianapolis, passed away September 22, 2024. He was born on April 16, 1964 in Franklin, Indiana, to Richard E. and Judith Boaz. Dick graduated from Greenwood High School in 1982, where he played tennis and golf, and played a season of tennis for Indiana Central, now known as the University of Indianapolis. He worked in several sales positions, as well as working for the Indiana Port Authority. He spent the last 22 years working with his father at Lightning Two-Way Radio. The family managed a sheep farm in Ladoga, Indiana. JR was a graduate of Ladoga High School in 1959. He married Diane Elizabeth Otten on July 3, 1965, and they remained faithfully committed to each other for 58 years. They had 2 children, Creighton Miller, of Beavercreek, Ohio, and Ash Miller (wife Carol), of Beavercreek, Ohio. They had 2 grandchildren from their son Ash; Allyson Miller and Victoria Miller. John "Jack" Michael Smart, III, 79, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 11, 1943, in Providence, Rhode Island to John M. & Ada (Orme) Smart, II. Jack graduated from Greenwood High School and got his undergrad at Indiana University. He and his brother Tim were members of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. Jack was a proud member of the Phi Delts Little 500 racing team. Judith Anne "Judy" Paprocki, 82, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023. She was born January 1, 1941, in Gary to the late Leon & Bernice (Makowski) Pomianowski. Judy studied at Alliance College. She then went on to receive a bachelor's degree from Ball State Teachers College and then received a master's degree in education from Butler University. When studying at Alliance she met Christopher Paprocki. They married on December 28, 1964, at St. Matthew's Church in Hallandale, Florida. Judy was a lifelong resident of Greenwood. Linda Eppard Watson, 75, of Greenwood, passed away August 13, in her home where she lived most of her life. She was a proud member of Greenwood High School class of 1965 and cofound of Fireplace Builders of Indiana with her husband. Donald Louis Kramer "Don" Don, age 92, was born on July 31, 1928, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the older of two sons born to George and Georgianna Kramer. After he graduated from Shortridge High School, he worked his way through Indiana University to earn his undergraduate degree. He spent 16 years working for Indianapolis Public Schools as a teacher, counselor and finally as guidance director at George Washington High School. James R. "Jim" Green II died peacefully at home in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 3, 2020 at the age of 85. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 8, 1934.
