Tara Jennifer Cullinan, of Shaftsbury, passed away on November 30, 2023, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. The family is deeply saddened by this tremendous loss, she was only 41 years old. Tara was born on July 8, 1982, she has lived in the area most of her life and graduated from Arlington High School in 2000. Tara was a small business owner of EFX Cleaning Company in Shaftsbury for over 14 years. EFX was her life's work, she built the thriving business from the ground up, pouring her heart and soul into it and her employees. Dennis Krawczyk, 66, a resident of 227 Chapel Road in Bennington, VT, passed away on November 6, 2023. He was born in Bennington, VT on July 25, 1957, and was the son of Albert and Joan (Blanchard) Krawczyk. Dennis received his education in Bennington and was a 1976 graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School. He married the former Mary Elizabeth Baldwin at Saint Peter's Episcopal Church in Bennington on July 10, 1976. John was born on November 21, 1941, in Bennington, VT, the son of Henry M. and Lucille (Knott) Steel. He married the former Janet Wright in August of 1964. Janet passed away in March 2020. Robert Sugarman, a writer and resident of Shaftsbury since 1969, passed away on Thursday November 1. His play Kaufman's Barber Shop was produced by Shakespeare & Co. and two of his plays, Players and Hello, I Must be Going, were premiered by Bennington's Oldcastle Theatre Company.
