She graduated from Central High School in 1944 and moved the next day to Norfolk, VA, where her family resided during WWII. At the end of the war, when her family returned to TN, she often said she "got sand in her shoes", and she never returned to the mountains of TN. Pamela Angele Martin, 74, of Norfolk, died November 26, 2024 in her home. Born in Roanoke, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Herman Martin and Iris Thierry Martin. Pamela studied mathematics at Virginia Tech and received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the Medical University of South Carolina. She spent most of her career as a pharmacist at Portsmouth General Hospital, followed by Chesapeake General Hospital. She was a dedicated and loving mom, always putting her children first. Born October 15, 1954 in Norfolk, Virginia, the eldest daughter of Sidney and Julia Terkeltoub (Feldman). Ida graduated from Granby High School in 1972. She worked as a legal secretary in Norfolk until she met her husband, Robert.
