Margaret(Marge)K. Fassbinder, 89, of Edgerton passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025 in Hospice Care. Marge was born on February 29,1936 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Harry & Marjorie (Lugge) Kennedy.She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Chicago, IL & attended the Whitewater State Teachers College. She was united in marriage with John F. Fassbinder at St. Benedict's Church in Fontana, WI on February 19,1955. Together, John & Marge raised four children; Patricia Anne, Mary Katherine, Robert John, & Jill Anne. Scott R. Slater, age 58, of Janesville, formerly of Edgerton, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Mercy Hospital. He was born in Edgerton on November 1, 1966, the son of Stanley and Linda (Kahl) Slater. He was a 1985 graduate of Edgerton High School and attended UW Stevens Point. Scott worked at Go-Green as an Extrusion Associate Manager. He enjoyed trap shooting, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and spending time at the cabin. She was born on June 29, 1932, to Lars and Alice (Nelson) Lund on the family farm in Christiana Township. James "Jim" T. Carlson, age 84, of Edgerton, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at home. He was born in Stoughton on July 28, 1940, the son of Harold and Myrtle (Rasmussen) Carlson. He was a 1958 graduate of Edgerton High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served his country from 1961 until 1964. He married Carol F. Hanauska on August 6, 1966, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Milton. Jim worked for General Motors for 28 years until his retirement in 1993. He was a member of UAW Local 95. Diana married David Markson on Dec. 26, 1970, in Chicago. Diana was possessed of fierce intelligence, sharp wit, and unfailing humor. She had a big heart.
