Shirley V. Boyce, a resident of Mt. Dora, FL, passed away on January 16, 2026, at the age of 92. Born in West Arlington, VT, Shirley was the daughter of Curnel D. Vaughn and Prudence H. Vaughn. Educated in the one-room school house directly across from "the Green" (and adjacent to the well known red covered bridge), Shirley often noted that everything she ever needed "was in the home or right outside our front door." She loved her neighbors, the church near the Green, and the "Battenkill Farm," the latter a special place where she and her self-reliant siblings learned not only the value of arduous work but the pride of honest living. Stanley S. Judd Jr. of Bokeelia, FL, passed away at home on Sunday, December 5th, 2021, from complications of lung cancer. He was 89 years old. He was born on September 20, 1932, in Janesville, WI, to the late Stanley Samuel Judd Sr and Catherine Olson Judd. In 1962, he married the love of his life, Jacqueline Vogel. He was a well-known insurance agent and was a part owner of the Yeomans Lathrop Insurance Co. In addition to being active in insurance and political circles he was a member of many organizations including the Elks Club, Serra Club and the Country Club. Ann Harding, age 81, died very suddenly on Sunday January 17th, 2021, at The Villages Regional Hospital. She is survived by her daughter Kathi Russell and spouse Dennis, her son Tom Harding and his spouse Laura. She has two grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. John was born in Cambridge, MD on August 22, 1944 to his late parents, Thomas Woodrow and Evelyn Wilson. He graduated from Cambridge High School in 1962 and attended Wesley Junior College, Dover, DE before graduating from Washington College, Chestertown, MD with a BA degree in Economics. John was employed by the State of Maryland, Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services, Division of Parole and Probation for 32 years before retiring in 1997 as a Field Supervisor. Arleen Mae Imus of Leesburg, Florida passed away on July 20th after a courageous battle with COVID-19. Born in Galien, MI on February 6,1939 to Joseph and Marie Derbas, Arleen married Russell Imus in 1960 and moved to Detroit, where she raised four children, lead social events at the Detroit Yacht Club, the Women's Travel Club and volunteered at the Detroit Zoo Butterfly House. John Wesley Malloy (78), of The Villages, FL., went home to the Lord on April 18, 2020. John was born October 10, 1941 in Washington DC. After graduating from Northwestern High School he enlisted into the United States Army, he served his country achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class E7, and was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries sustained during his service in Vietnam, he retired honorably after 22 years of service.
