Samuel Cecil, 69, died May 13, 2023. Born May 24, 1953, in Cincinnati, OH, the son of the late Ezekiel & Pearl Kanatzer Cecil. A graduate of Elder High School, he a Vietnam veteran of the Army. He worked as a deputy for the Hamilton Co Sheriff's Office, a patrolman, sergeant, and detective with Cheviot Police Dept, retiring after 32 years of service. He was Vice Grand of Emmanuel Lodge #213; Masonic Lodge #123 where he was a 32-degree Mason and member of Scottish Rite; and a member of the Owen Co Historical Society.
