Billy Ivan "Bill" Watkins passed away February 13, 2021 at Abilene, Texas. He was 92. Services will be held Saturday, 2:00 pm Graveside February 20, at Aspermont Cemetery by GilesMcCoy Funeral Home of Aspermont with Dick Griffith officiating. M. Glyn Hammons, 82, passed away on December 15, 2020. The son of Hester "Nanny" and Daniel "Daddy Dan" Hammons, Glyn was born in Paris, Texas on December 23, 1937. He married the love of his life, Betty Joanne Bixler, on August 2, 1958. They celebrated their 62nd anniversary this year. There will be a memorial celebration of Glyn's life at a future date, tentatively planned for the summer of 2021. Glyn was District Manager for the Abilene Social Security Administration Office. He was an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Abilene for 51 years. He was also on the Board of Directors for Meals on Wheels for 25 years.
