Mrs. Cheryl Anita White Rogers, age 66, of Jackson, passed away November 26, 2023, at Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough. She was born in a military hospital at Ft. Devens, MA, while her father was serving in the United States Army. Her early years were spent moving to military bases and attending schools all over the world. Cheryl worked as a radio operator for the GA State Patrol and served for several years as Communications Operator for the security detail at the governor's mansion in Atlanta. Mr. William "Bill" Andrew Rogers, Jr., age 75, of Jackson, passed away August 21, 2023. Bill grew up in Jonesboro, son of the late William "Bill" Andrew Rogers, Sr., and the late Clara Myers Rogers. He attended Jonesboro High School and served in the United States Army in the Vietnam War. He worked at H. B. Fuller for 39 years, first in Forest Park, and then later in Covington, retiring as a Master Mechanic. He was a long-time member of the Jonesboro Church of Christ.
