Donald Paul "Don" Pierce, age 88, of De Pere, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020 on his 88th birthday. He was born February 19, 1932 in Stillwater, MN to the late Roscoe and Clara (Junker) Pierce. Don began his education at St. Regis High School in Eau Claire, where he was a hall of fame inductee. He then attended UW-Madison where he played football, but later got hurt and transferred to UW- Eau Claire, where he was an All-American football player and inductee into the BlueGold Hall of Fame. Helen "Ann" Vissers, 88, De Pere, Wisconsin, returned peacefully to her Creator on Saturday, October 19, 2019. She was born in Manitowoc, WI on Dec. 16, 1930 to the late Bruno Joseph and Helen Monica (McNulty) Kasten. Ann is a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School and St. Mary's School of Nursing in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Following graduation, she worked as a registered nurse. After meeting on a blind date, she married Donald Vissers on May 17, 1952 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
