After completion of school, she moved to Norfolk where she met her husband, Kelly Porter Rock who she was married to for 47 years. During that time she went back to school to become an RM and as employed at Norfolk General Hospital Intensive Care Unit. Joann was a faithful Jehovah's Witness for 75 years. James Arthur "Bud" Wooten, Jr., age 101, passed away on December 13, 2024, just 10 days shy of his 102nd birthday. He was born December 23, 1922, the second of ten children of Ila Oakley and J.A.
