Jimmy Ray Wood, 80, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood. Born in Greenwood County and a son of the late Herman O. Wood and Lula Elizabeth Mitchell Wood, he was the husband of Rosemary Pugh Johnson Wood. Mr. Wood proudly served in the South Carolina National Guard with the 122nd Engineer Company in Saluda. He later retired from a long and dedicated career with the telephone company, CenturyLink. A longtime member of Good Hope Baptist Church, he was also a passionate supporter of the Yankees and South Carolina Gamecocks. Milburn graduated from Saluda High School and was a star baseball and football player (#21). Milburn learned to play the guitar by ear at an early age and enjoyed playing gospel classics and picking favorite tunes from the 60's and 70's. Wiley "Tiny" Gregory, 91, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at the home of one of his daughters after being on hospice care with MSA. Tiny was born on December 5th, 1933, in Saluda County, South Carolina to the late James Otis Gregory and the late Eva Attaway Gregory. He was married to the late Daisy Evans Gregory.
