ONAGA - Clayton Dodds, 81, formerly of Onaga, died Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the Westy Community Care Home in Westmoreland. He was born October 31, 1939 in the Neuchatel Community north of Onaga, the son of Galen and Alvira Talley Dodds. He graduated from Onaga High School and received a Bachelor's Degree from Kansas State University. After college, Clayton had worked for Farm Bureau Insurance in Manhattan, then moving to Onaga he worked at the Town and Country Market. He built what in now the Onaga Community Building, and operated Dodds Farm Supply there. He later started Insurance Services of Onaga. Clayton was also a farmer and a cattleman. ONAGA - Kenneth A. Falk, 78, of Onaga, died Friday, December 6, 2019 at the Onaga Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born August 21, 1941 on the farm at Wheaton, the son of Arthur and Elsa Honig Falk. He graduated from Wheaton High School in 1959 and served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1964. Kenneth was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church at Wheaton. He had served on the board at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Duluth and on the Onaga School Board for four years. In his early years he worked for Kansas Power & Light. He then ran the bulk truck for Onaga Oil for twenty-two years. After that, he went back to work as a lineman for Westar Energy. Donna Lee Valburg, 96, Onaga, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Community Hospital Onaga. Donna was born August 27, 1923 in rural Onaga, KS, the daughter of Ernest C. Carl and Bertha Day Carl; she was the youngest of 7 children. Donna graduated from Onaga High School in 1942. After graduation Donna Lee worked for the State of Kansas as a data entry operator. She married Lawrence D. Valburg, April 27, 1946, in Duluth, Kansas. Lawrence died May 4, 2011. They were married 65 years.
