Donald G. Jones, 85 entered into rest on August 31, 2024. He was born on May 21, 1939, in Newton County, Arkansas, to the late Marvin Jones and Viola Dunlap. Mr. Jones served for over 20 years in the U.S. Army. During his time in the service, Mr. Jones served tours of duty in Europe, Korea and Vietnam as well as time at various bases in the United States. Mary Louise (Hargett) Phillips, 80, passed away peacefully at home on September 29, surrounded by her devoted husband of 61 years Steve Phillips and her two daughters Sharon Beall and Amy Riley. Her death followed a glorious homecoming weekend during which all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren filled their home with love and laughter. Dana Marie Wyman passed away peacefully at home in Georgia surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the age of 46. She was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the lung (non-smokers lung cancer) in November 2016 which metastasized to her brain in November 2017. She fought bravely for four years. A long-time resident of Augusta, GA, she was the beloved wife of the late George Curtis Shaw and the daughter of the late Chiles L. and Margaret M. Cox.
