Mary "Jan" Waller, age 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Wesley Life Hospice. Jan was born the daughter of Joseph and Lucille (Winters) Lehnen on September 28, 1937 in Dubuque, Iowa. Jan worked at Principal Financial Group as Assistant Manager for 17 years, until her retirement in 1995. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Alter Rosary Society, and the Ankeny Community Chorus. Dolores (Dee) Vesta Lein, 88, of The Villages, Florida passed away peacefully Nov 27 surrounded by -her family. She died of natural causes. Dee was born in Polk City, Iowa to Robert and Doris White II in 1935. The family moved to Ankeny in l941. After graduating from Ankeny High School in 1953, Dee married Rodney (Rod) Lein. Kay Janet Zasada, 83, passed away on June 9, 2021, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born in Dubuque, Iowa on April 11, 1938, to John and Irene Fransen. Kay graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1956. She met and married Jerome Flynn in 1957 and there were 5 children born to this union, Brian, Mike, Lori, John and Julie. They later divorced.
