Georgann was born to John and Helen Bedenk in 1933 and raised on a farm in Umbarger, Texas. She was the youngest of four girls and received her education and her spiritual format ion at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Umbarger. She married Joseph Anthony Rickwartz from Nazareth, Texas in 1951 and took up that most noble of vocations-homemaker. John (Johnny) Martin Matthews Junior, 57 of Canyon, Tx, passed away on September 8, 2022. Johnny was born in Parma, OH on March 6, 1965 to Sarah Havran and John Matthews Senior. Johnny married Vicki Yvonne Wilson Matthews on January 18, 1992 and together they had 4 children, Jayson Whitlow, Jeremy Whitlow, Kyla Matthews Lay, and Michael Matthews. Johnny worked as a restaurant general manager for 20 years, his most recent position as a nutrition manager at Medical Lodge of Amarillo where he was able to visit his mom regularly and make sure she was always taken care of. She met the love of her life, Wesley Hodges, in Roswell, New Mexico in 1943 and the two were married in Tinnie, New Mexico and were married for 76 years. Doris Laverne Huckert was born in Paoli, Okla., on March 30, 1937. She passed away on May 1, 2021, in Canyon. Doris grew up in Oklahoma and married Robert "Bob" Huckert on June 11, 1976, and moved to Hereford. She lived a full life and touched many hearts through the various ministries she was a part of. Doris always embraced a servant's heart and spread the word of God throughout her life, from leading church services to forming Hard-Line Ministries, which reached over 100 youth weekly.
