Marjorie Elizabeth Hill Foy passed away on Tuesday, July 9, in Greenwood, SC. She was the daughter of Johnson M. Hill and Mae Still Hill and the wife of 51 years of Harry Lee Foy, Sr. Margie and Harry Lee have four children: Linda Lee F. Early (Jack) of Bamberg and Mt. Pleasant, Harry Lee Foy, Jr. (Mary Ann) of Central, Suzanne F. Nicholson of Greenwood, and Marjorie Jane F. Abbott (Tom) of Spartanburg. Margie especially loved her six grandchildren: William P. Mary Patterson Roberts, 88, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2021, at her home in Aiken, SC. Born in Columbia, SC, on February 20, 1932, to Robert Walton Pagett and Mary Pierce Patterson Pagett, she resided in Barnwell until her early teens, when she moved to Winston Salem, NC. Mary Pat attended and graduated from R. J. Reynolds High School in 1950. Possessed of a wonderful sense of humor and infectious curiosity, Mary Pat was an avid reader who loved to cook.
