Brian Alan Kelley, 68, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at the Kingman Regional Medical Center in Kingman, Arizona. Services are scheduled for 10:30 A.M., Friday, July 16, 2021 at the Westside Baptist Church in Emporia. Burial will follow services at Greenwood Cemetery south of Emporia. The family will receive friends Thursday evening at the Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home in Lebo from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. OSAGE CITY- Jerry Ann Lynch, 80, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Life Care Center in Burlington, Kansas. Jerry Ann St. John was born July 24, 1940 in Randall, Kansas. She was the 10th child of Pearl St. John Sr and Orlena (Bailey) St. John. Jerry was named after Orlena's parents, Jerry Bailey and Mary Ann (Taylor) Bailey. Jerry grew up in Randall, with a population of 80, and had many friends there. After graduating high school Jerry went to Oklahoma and worked driving a truck during a wheat harvest. She then moved back to Randall and worked in a cafe in Beloit KS, where she met her first husband, Charlie Blundon. They moved to Topeka and lived there until Charlie passed...

Marcus L. Bayless, 69, of Topeka, KS, passed away after a short battle with cancer on November 14, 2020. Born November 11, 1951 to Marvin and Venetta Henery Bayless, Marcus lived his whole like in Topeka. He was a graduate of Topeka West High School, and later, Washburn University. Marcus worked as a computer specialist for The State of Kansas for 37 years before retiring. He leaves to cherish his memory, sisters, Marlys Arnold (Stan) of Leawood, KS; Marisa Hoke (John) of O'Neill, Nebraska; two nieces, one nephew, and numerous cousins. Madgel Marie Beagel, 94, passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 at the Life Care Center in Burlington, Kansas. She was born Madgel Marie Knight on February 27, 1926 in Lebo, Kansas the daughter of Charles A. and Violet R. Knight. She attended Lebo High School and graduated with the Class of 1943. Madgel moved to Craig County with her parents where she met Robert Bartley. They were joined in marriage on June 1, 1945. Robert would precede her in death on January 13, 1971. Madgel, then married Frank Beagel on March 7, 1975. He also preceded her in death on November 13, 2001. Madgel worked at Crawford Mfg. Company from 1958 until 1971. Reba Jean Barnett, 96, of Reading, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Emporia Place. She was born June 16, 1923 in Lebo, Kansas the daughter of Robert Althouse and Gladys Antrim Spatz. Jean was raised in the Lebo community and graduated from Lebo High School with the Class of 1941. She furthered her education at Strickler's Business College in Topeka, Kansas. Jean worked for the Kansas League of Municipalities, initially on the KU Campus in Lawrence before transferring to the Topeka office.
