After high school, Mary lived and worked in St. Paul, MN for several years. Mary married Arthur H. Fedie on September 12, 1964 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church-Lima. Mary and Arthur moved their family to the Twin Cities area, mostly in Andover, MN. She attended the University of Minnesota where she received her degree in buisness. "Gordy" Gifford, age 82, of Rochester, MN, formerly of Durand, WI, after a lifetime of farming, flying, and driving, left for his next journey on the night of April 23, 2022, in the midst of a thunderstorm bringing warm rain for good spring growing. Gordy was born March 18, 1940, to Lena (Helmueller) and David Gifford. He entered the world with a joy for life, hard work, and valuing relationships with family and friends. He was the son of John and Edna (Hanson) Hanson. He was one of five brothers. Bob grew up in Whalen, MN and graduated from Lanesboro High School. After school, Bob enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served stateside until he was honorably discharged. Arlene (Arly) Margaret Gruber, age 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8th, 2020 at her home in Rock Falls, WI, with family by her side. Arly was born June 24, 1930, in Rock Falls to Vincent and Genevieve (Yenny) Schuh. On October 4, 1950, she married Kenneth Gruber of Bear Creek, Town of Canton. They moved to Rock Falls and bought the Swan farm in 1953. Arly and Ken enjoyed farming and were great support to son Chris when he took over operations in the mid 1980's. Francis Louis Reuter, Age 89, of Eau Galle, WI and formerly of Waumandee, WI passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020. He was conversing with his family by his side hours before he died peacefully in his sleep. He was born June 12, 1930, of parents Frank and Cecilia (Kreye) Reuter. Kathryn (nee: Scheer) Iberg, of Durand, WI died September 17, 2019 at The Neighbors of Dunn County in Menomonie, WI after a long and courageous fight against Alzheimer's Disease. Kathy was born December 5, 1951, the first of six children born to Ken and Mary (Schien) Scheer. Kathy spent her elementary years growing up in Curtis, NE and after the family moved to Pierce, NE she graduated from Pierce High School in 1970.
