Gary J. Schuster passed away in his home on the morning of October 20, 2025, after battling a long illness. He fought voraciously, no matter what obstacle came his way, with tenacity and unmatched optimism. Gary was born in Lomira, Wisconsin to Reuben and Edna (Eisenhaut) Schuster on February 25, 1949. He graduated from Mayville High school. He received his undergrad degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctorate at the University of Tulsa College of Law. Dave enjoyed a lifelong passion for learning, attaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Pennsylvania State University, a Master of Arts Degree in History from The University of Notre Dame and earning his Doctorate of Philosophy from The University of Notre Dame. Michael C. Longsdorf, 62, of Eau Claire, passed away on April 18, 2023, surrounded by loved ones after a very short, but valiant, battle with cancer. Mike was born January 2, 1961, to Calvin and Patricia (Anibas) Longsdorf. He grew up in his beloved hometown of Plum City, Wisconsin, and he always talked about the many friends and memories made there. Mike worked for years with his father's concrete business, Precise Concrete, where he developed his love of the construction industry and entrepreneurship. Neva Grace Larsen, age 99, of Eau Claire, passed away on March 3, 2022, at Prairie Point Rehabilitation Center in Altoona, while under the care of St. Croix Hospice. Neva was born in Granton, Wisconsin to Elda (Helm) and Fred Bartz. She had one older sister Irene. She attended U.W. Eau Claire graduating with a degree in education. She met Elwyn Larsen whom she married in 1944. She taught in St. Croix Falls, WI, McHenry, IL and Janesville, WI. Joseph T. Sullivan, 97, of Boyd WI died on Monday, January 10, 2022. Joe was born June 14, 1924, in Juneau WI to Henry and Mary Sullivan. Joe grew up on the family farm with seven siblings and attended Columbus High School. Following high school, he joined the Marines to serve his country in World War II. Joe served in the Pacific Theater and returned home with injuries sustained in the long conflict. Joe married Edith Olson in 1948. Joe and Edith eventually settled in Waterloo, Wisconsin where they lived, worked and raised their family prior to retiring in northern Wisconsin. For years they operated a Christmas tree farm in Stanley and eventually moved to Boyd in their later years. ...

Edith (Olson) Sullivan, 94, of Boyd, Wisconsin, passed in peace on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. Edith grew up in Rio, Wisconsin graduating from Columbus High School in 1944. Edith married Joseph Sullivan in 1948. Edith and Joseph spent much of their life farming in southern Wisconsin. They moved to Stanley in 1983, where they operated a Christmas tree farm, then moving into Boyd in 2000. They celebrated their 73rd anniversary in February.
