Dodgeville - Merlin "Merl" Nadler, age 92, of Dodgeville, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Merl was born on Jan. 12, 1932, a son of Walter and Clara (Stelse) Nadler of Lake Mills, WI. He attended Lake Mills High School. Merl was active in football and basketball. He lived in Lake Mills in the family home and worked at various jobs in the area and also for awhile in Chicago on the construction of downtown buildings. Dodgeville - Darlene G. Johnson of Dodgeville, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Friday January 5, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Darlene was born March 23, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Henry and Lillian Hayes. She was a graduate of Big Foot High School, Walworth, Wisconsin. She married the love of her life, Charles (Chuck) Johnson in 1961 in Sharon, Wisconsin. Chuck and Darlene enjoyed a wonderful 62 years of marriage. Darlene and Chuck have two sons, Sid and David. Tom was born on December 12, 1931 to Catherine (Smith) and Edwin Horsfield in Epworth Iowa. After graduating from Peosta High School, Tom married Kathleen M. McDonald on June 19, 1954. Together they raised four children. Tom received his Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counseling Certificated in 1974. Together he and Kay worked together in this field until retirement. He was born on June 18, 1941 in Boscobel, a son of Delbert and Ida Edgecomb. Bob was a 1960 graduate of Beloit High School. He married Gerry Bomkamp on February 26, 1999 in Dodgeville.
