Joseph P. "Joe" Kittel, 94 of Randolph, VT died peacefully Friday morning, December 6, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. Joe was born to Nina (Swan) and Paul Kittel on the family dairy farm in Bennington, VT during milking time and his weight was determined on the butter scale. He joined his grandfather and father attending to the duties expected of a farm boy. During this time he was educated at Brooklyn Elementary School and was a member of the Bennington High School class of 1947. She married Rae E. Peck of Tolland, Conn. They moved to Brookfield, VT where they had a dairy farm and raised 5 children. Her greatest joy was her family including 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren. Davis Ludlow Dimock was born on February 8, 1945. He and his wife, Victoria Weber lived together for almost 50 years at "Scrivelsby" on Christian Hill in Bethel, Vermont. Davis lived and attended school in many places, including Puerto Rico, Turkey, Switzerland and England. Davis was the valedictorian of his class at Vermont Academy in Saxtons River and graduated from Pomona College, in Claremont, California in 1967. It was while he was at Pomona that he met Victoria.
