Boonville - Ranay S. Myers, 74, loving mother and grandmother passed away on October 19, 2024 at Rome Health. She was born in Lowville, N.Y. on November 28, 1949 a daughter of Harold and Mabel Mason Hubbard. She lived in Ogdensburg and Syracuse and worked many various jobs to support her two oldest children as they grew up. She moved to Boonville and married Larry Myers and together they had two more children. That marriage ended in divorce after 43 years. She was born on April 12, 1934 in Boonville, N.Y. a daughter of John E. and Lucy M. Akins Zeigler. Carol grew up in Boonville and graduated from Boonville High School in the Class of 1952. She then furthered her education at Utica School of Commerce graduating in 1953. She then began her long career in banking serving as a teller in the local banks in Boonville for 35 years.
