Garnet Charles Johnston, 97, of Pennington entered into God's care, Friday August 18, 2023 at Brandywine Senior Living with his son and daughter-in-law at his side. He was born and raised in Buffalo, NY where he resided for 45 years before living in Greensboro, NC for a brief 3 years. Mr. Johnston then resided in Richmond, VA for 38 years and for the last 11 years in Pennington, NJ. Garnet was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Florence (Duthie) Johnston; a son, David Johnston, and a daughter, Patricia Steffan; and his wife Dr. Shirley Jane (Heary) Johnston.
