Harry was a graduate of JM Wright Technical School where he learned the trade of Automotive Mechanic. Upon Graduating, Harry joined the United States ARMY where he proudly served and later stationed at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, GA during the Vietnam Era . Yvonne was born in Antwerp, Belgium, on Jan. 20, 1928, to Alfonse and Richardina (Dillis) De Maere. She immigrated to the United States in 1946 and lived in the Detroit area until she and her husband George retired from Chrysler Corporation and moved to The Villages. As a young woman she met Edward V Duquette at Hunter Airforce Base and became his bride on March 31, 1945.
