Dan Spencer always said he loved his growing up years. Dan was born and raised in Staples, Minnesota, the 10th child of Marian (Kisler) and Daniel Frank Spencer. With two brothers and seven sisters, Dan lived in a home busy with family. There was love galore and music too. Always music. She attended Linwood Elementary School and graduated from Forest Lake high School in 1974. In high school, Eileen welcomed new opportunities for girls to participate in sports, and she received varsity letters in volleyball, basketball, softball, and track.
