On July 27th, Donna Stinson passed away peacefully at home the day after a great round of golf. It's only fitting that her heart grew too big as her spirit was constantly filled with joy and love. The grand-daughter of the late John Sanford, Donna grew up in the Killington-Rutland area and graduated from Rutland High School. After RHS, she earned her degree in nursing from Castleton State College and went on to care for countless patients over a 40+ year career as an RN. She then transitioned to running Stinson's Village Store in Hanover, NH with her husband Jack, helping to mold the business into the local treasure that it has become. Helen Marie (Dinneen) Quinn, 90, of Hanover, NH passed away on May 20, 2023 after a period of declining health at the Hanover Terrace Nursing Home. Helen was born on September 22, 1932 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, to Joseph Michael and Helen Monica (Cronin) Dinneen. Helen was raised in Lowell, Massachusetts. She developed a love of the ocean as a young child and fondly recalled her summers in North Hampton with her family. Her enduring love of the beach continued throughout her life and she shared that love with her own family. Margaret A. Johnson, affectionately known as Margo, passed away on May 1, 2023, at the age of 103. She was a remarkable woman who lived a life full of adventure and accomplishment. Born in Washington, DC, to Vermont parents, Margo spent most of her school years in France, with intervals in Canada and Madrid at the outset of the Civil War. She returned to the United States during World War II and went on to graduate from Radcliffe College. Margo then served as a French teacher at the Wheeler School in Providence and the Winsor School in Boston. Virginia was born April 4, 1925, in Franklin, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of the late Clinton Stearns and Dora (Woodward) Clark. She graduated from high school in 1943.
