We are heartbroken to announce the death of Dewey Stanley Bacon who passed away after an extended illness at the age of 86 on Thursday, September 22, 2022. Stanley was born on May 7, 1936, in the Sulphur Springs Community in Jonesborough, Tennessee to A.C. and Lela Bacon and was their only child. For many years, Stanley drove over the road as a long-haul truck driver. He was a faithful and active member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Baker, Florida under the stewardship of Pastor Geoff Prows and Senior Adult Minister David VanZandt. Dianna Steidinger, 64, of 4679 Meadow Lake Drive, Crestview, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on May 14, 2022, from Crestview Rehab Facility, Crestview, Florida. Dianna was born June 12, 1957, to Walter Curren and Charlotte Curren at Glens Falls, Hospital in Glens Falls, NY. She graduated as Valedictorian of her senior class at Bolton Central School in 1975. She went on to receive her degree in Education, graduating from SUNY Oswego in 1979, and received her master's in education from SUNY Albany in 1982. Dianna so greatly loved children, and this was reflected through her being an excellent elementary teacher at Whitehall Central School in Whitehall, NY for 30 years. Dianna married...

Brenda Ray, 71 of Baker, Florida passed away Monday, March 7, 2022. Brenda was born on December 11, 1950, to William Henry and Nena Lucille Ray in Columbus, Georgia. She was a nurse and a member of Church of Christ in Baker Florida. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Nena Ray, her brother, Billy Ray and her granddaughter, Cassia Howze. Brenda is survived by her daughter, Molly (Mark) Howze, her brother, Mike Ray, her sister, Susan Josey and four grandchildren.
