Mr. Richard Lee Dozier, 81, passed away peacefully at his residence, At Home, on April 17th. Born in Newport News, Virginia, in 1944 to Thomas Marion and Beulah Lee Robinson Dozier, Richard moved to Thomson, Georgia, at the age of eight. He graduated from Thomson High School in 1962 and from the University of Georgia in 1966. After returning to Thomson, he married the love of his life, Mary McNeill Dozier. Together, they raised four children, whom he adored. Richard loved his work, He was a talented builder, electrician, and plumber, and he held a license in heating and air.
