Anthony F. Cheek, Sr., 85, of West Newbury, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2023. Tony was born on April 3, 1937, in Tennessee, the son of Neil H. Cheek and Ann L. (Felton) Cheek. Tony grew up in Minnesota and was drafted into the army as a young man. It was during the time he spent at Fort Devens that he visited Boston and met his future wife, Beverly Ann (Burbank) Cheek, through mutual friends. He remained devoted to her for the rest of his life, which included more than 59 years of marriage. Ronald J. Cunningham, age 87 formerly of Lynn Massachusetts, passed away on February 13, 2023. He was the husband and loving partner to the late Pauline (Cooper) Cunningham who passed in 1998, the son of the late George Cunningham and Laura (Matheson) Cunningham, the brother of the late Donald Cunningham and sister Judith (Cunningham) Patuto. Ron spent 39 years as a loyal employee of Massachusetts Electric Company, based out of Lynn, Malden and North Andover, Massachusetts. Thomas Andrew Geffert, 90, of Sarasota, Florida, died peacefully on January 25, 2022 at Wentworth Senior Living in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Born on October 25, 1931 to Anna Hudock and Andrew Geffert, Tom matriculated at Hazleton High School in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, and Penn State University. Tom served in the United States Army after college and relished being stationed in Germany and touring Europe. In 1960, Tom passed the New York City architectural boards in one sitting (a feat) so he could marry the love of his life, Anne Leary Geffert. Merrimac, MA - Stanley Thomas Hardy, Sr., 96, of Merrimac, died peacefully at his home on November 5, 2020, after a brief illness, surrounded by his family. He was born on September 23, 1924 in Orland, ME, the son of the late Maurice and Ruby (Snowman) Hardy. He attended school in Little Deer Isle, ME. At the age of 13, he quit school and went to sea on various ships with his uncles. He worked on barges off the Maine coast and traveled on tugboats as far south as New Orleans and on to Cuba.
