Mr. Eddie Smith, 68, of Graniteville, SC, entered into rest on Thursday, October 12th, 2023. A lifelong resident of the CSRA, Eddie was born on January 21st, 1955 and was a career operator at several of the area's notable manufacturing plants, most recently, Southern Felt Co., from which he retired in 2019. Eddie was happiest when he was with his family and was an avid camper, as well as a dedicated Carolina Gamecocks fan.
