Henry L. Mitchell, age 85, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2022. He is the beloved husband of 67 years to Joann Mitchell; devoted father of Susan, Leslie and his wife Jeannette, Scott and his with Karyn, and Tammy Sersen and her husband Tim; cherished grandfather of Nichole, Amber, Austin, Kayhla, Mckynna, and Caedyn; also survived by other loving relatives and friends. A viewing will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Ave., on Sunday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 10am followed by burial at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Edgar (nee Butler); beloved father of David Wayne Edgar and his wife Arlene, John Michael Edgar and Gerald Anthony Edgar; dear brother of Dorothy Lowery, the late Iretha Brenneman, Edith Yoder ,Elwood Edgar, George Edgar, Stanley Edgar, Olen Edgar, Dennis Edgar, Allen Edgar, and Margaret Yoder; loving grandfather of nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at The Connelly Funeral Home Of Essex 300 Mace Ave. on Wednesday December 30, 2020 at 11 am. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday December 29, 2020 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
