Jack Mathew Legleu was born December 29, 1939 to Clovis and Sophie Legleu in Baton Rouge, LA. He was the 8th child out of 9. He always would say he was a hellion as a kid and gave his parents a lot of trouble. Jack joined the Army in 1958 to 1962 when he transitioned into the US Air Force and served for a total of 22 years. Jack had transferred into the Missle Department as an Instrumental Tech during the Cuban Missile Crisis while stationed at Dyes AFB in Abilene, TX. After about 3 years, Jack transferred back to the Avionic Communications-Navigation Department for the remainder of his Air Force career. She moved to Shreveport, LA in 1984 with AT&T where she worked for 38 years. She was a loyal member of Southpark Church of God. She loved animals, mostly cats, trees and roses. Joe Davis, age 88, of Waskom, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 5, 2024. Joe was born January 24, 1935 in Piney Woods, Mississippi to Robert and Duckie Davis. Joe was a proud veteran who served his country for over twenty years in the U.S. Air Force as a B52 crew chief. After retiring from the military, he worked as an aircraft mechanic at the Shreveport downtown airport. He then owned and operated a small engine repair shop at his home. A private ceremony will be held to spread Gerry's ashes in her beloved hometown of Hickory Tavern, South Carolina. Willis Neal Ross was born in a homestead farm house, on the outskirts of Carthage, Texas, May 9th 1928. He passed away on June 1, 2022 at his home in Shreveport at the age of 94. Neal graduated from high school in 1947 where he participated in football, basketball and FFA. Neal eventually left "the farm" to chase his passion in the oil business. His Oilfield career was interrupted when he was drafted into the Army in 1950. Neal proudly served with the Eastern Defense Division during the Korean War, protecting the steel mills of Pennsylvania. Ed Walker was called home to heaven on Sunday, February 6th. Ed was a talented sportsman throughout college and became a respected civil engineer with J. Ray McDermott. He enjoyed a long career in the oil and gas industry, and many adventures throughout the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Europe. In addition to travel, Ed loved baseball, tennis, golf, hunting, fishing, snow-skiing, water skiing, and scuba-diving. Devoted and generous, Ed made caring for his family and friends one of his highest priorities. He was a cherished father, brother, son, uncle, grandfather, and friend.
