Betty was born March 26, 1932, in St. Paul, MN to Willard and Florence 'Adeline' (Johnson) Walker. Raised in Saint Paul, she moved to Rochester in 1947. She graduated from Rochester High School in 1949. Betty married Robert Seidlitz on October 8, 1950, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Rochester. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Lake City, where he was active in sports and theater. During WWII, he served in the US Navy, completing an engineer exam, he was sent to Hawaii and made Port Director there. He was born August 17, 1939 in Wabasha to Emil and Helen (Klein) Beck. Jack grew up and attended rural Wabasha County Schools and Elgin High School. On November 15, 1958 he married Virginia Tri at the Little Brown Church in Iowa and they were later divorced. He was born in Zumbro Falls, north of Rochester, on November 24, 1925 to Henry and Mina Hermann and grew up on the home farm. He attended school there at the Little Red Schoolhouse, and continued his education at Rochester High School. On July 10, 1948, he married LaVonne Subra at South Troy Church, near Zumbro Falls. Most of his life, he farmed in that area where he and his wife raised five children.
