Judy Chapel, 79, of Houston, MN died Wednesday February 26, 2025, at Benedictine Nursing Home in La Crosse, WI. A celebration of Judy's life will be held from 11-3 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2025 and the American Legion in West Salem, WI (149 Leonard St South, West Salem, WI). For many years, Judy worked at Skemp Clinic (later became Mayo Clinic La Crosse). After retirement, she filled her days taking care of her oversized garden and spending time in Arizona. In June 2012, Judy had a severe stroke. To say life was different and often difficult after the stroke was an understatement, but Judy was determined to continue life to the max as much as possible.
