Joe L. Coleman, 84, of Albany, died Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Willson Hospice House. His funeral service will be at 2 PM on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Kimbrell-Stern. The burial will be private. On August 19, 2023, Peggy Fields departed her earthly life in Albany, GA. Peggy was a long-time teacher and counselor in the Dougherty County School System. She held a B.S. degree in Math/Education, a Masters in counseling and another Masters in Leadership, and a six-year Ed.s certificate in leadership. She taught Algebra and History at Radium Junior High and later for many years at Merry Acres Middle School. Thereafter, Peggy became a School Counselor working first at Westover High School, then Morningside Elementary, then Sherwood Elementary, and at Live Oak Elementary from which she retired.
