Sylvia Kwiatkowski, 74 of Fort Atkinson, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center of Johnson Creek. Sylvia was born on February 27, 1951, in Seguin, TX, the daughter of Felipe and Josephine (Gonzolez) Marez. The Marez family moved to the Jefferson area in Sylvia's youth, and she graduated from Jefferson High School in 1970. In May of 1981, Sylvia married Alan Kwiatkowski. The couple had a son, Justin, and enjoyed 44 years of marriage until his death on October 1, 2025. Sylvia was a crafter, and the couple traveled to many craft and art shows, selling her creations.
