Graveside services with military honors for U.S. Navy veteran Theodore Fleckner, 76, of Belfair, will be 12:30pm Wednesday, October 31st at Tahoma National Cemetery. Edith Lucille (Rimple) McKelvy, 82, was born on February 7, 1937 in Bremerton, WA, and died peacefully in Silverdale, WA on February 10, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was pre-deceased by her parents and is survived by her husband James ("Jim") McKelvy, brother Ernest ("Carl") Rimple Jr, and many nieces and nephews. A lifelong Kitsap-area resident, "Edie" was the first of two children born to Ernest Rimple Sr and Olga (Brade) Rimple, and grew up on a 10-acre farm in Port Orchard that had been homesteaded by her father and grandfather. William C. Baker, Jr., age 83, passed away October 6, 2018. Bill was born February 21, 1935, in Portland, Oregon, to Viola and William Clyde Baker. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1952 and the University of Oregon in 1956, with a degree in Accounting. In 1956, Bill married Susan Benedict, deceased, and they had a daughter, Debbie O'Brien. In 1967 Bill married Sandy Arnold, and they had two sons, Mike and Jeff. Bill worked until retirement mostly in the home building business in various financial positions, both in Southern California and in the Bay Area in Northern California.
