Fred Carl Moore, 60, of Greencastle passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his family. Fred was born in Indianapolis Indiana on May 4, 1962, the son of Billy Moore and Betty Lovell, and attended Jennings County High School. Mr. Moore was a Little League Umpire for District 7, he was also a Basetball and football coach at Christian Park and Community Little League. He was a member of Greenfield Bass Masters and fished with USA Bassin. Fred worked for SSI Services LLC and MPW Environmental Clean-Up for many years. Delores Jean Wertz, 94, of Greenwood, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Greenwood Meadows. Delores was born in Roachdale on December 3, 1928, the daughter of Donald and Norma (Shoaf) Hyten, and was a 1946 graduate of Roachdale High School. She graduated from Central Business College in Indianapolis. Mrs. Wertz was a former member of Southport Christian Church. She worked at the Indiana State Board of Accounts, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan Public Schools, and the Indiana Department of Corrections until her retirement in 1994. William Stuart Richards was born November 17, 1938 in Greencastle, IN, the son of Imogene and Stuart Richards. He spent his early years in Greencastle surrounded by a network of grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He attended Ridpath Elementary School interrupted by a few years in Kokomo. The family returned to Greencastle, and he continued his education graduating from Greencastle High School in 1957.
