"Steavie", as he was affectionately known by his family, was born on January 8, 1954, in Floyd County, GA, son of the late Jesse Satcher, Jr., and the late Helen Louise Woods Satcher. He was also preceded in death by the love of his life, Linda Gale Miller, and by a brother, Ron Satcher.
