It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Sandra Kaye McCuen (Martin) on February 5, 2024. Sandy was born on July 25, 1945, in Butler, Pennsylvania to Charlotte May Martin (Hoffman) and James Leroy Martin. She was a graduate of Knoch High School (1963) and the D.T. Watson School of Physical Therapy (1967). She was a compassionate clinician and a successful private practice owner. Sandy always told us to "wait to worry", because she knew that with time most of our worries disappear. She was always right. Carey Downs Gibson, 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 28th, 2024 in her residence in Denver Colorado. Carey was born in Kerhonkson, NY on December 28th, 1938 to Donald and Guenn Downs, as the eldest of four siblings, including sister Shirley and brothers Chris and Greg Downs. She attended Oakwood Friends School and Mount Holyoke College. Carey married Douglas Jack, of West Springfield, MA, and raised two children Juliette Jack and MacAndrew Jack in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. Patience M. Fowler of Broomfield, CO, formerly of Avella, PA passed away peacefully on June 7, 2021. She was the daughter to the late Lawrence A. (Opal E.) Barton, of lakeside, CA. She was born on August 25, 1940, in Sioux City, Iowa. The family moved to Portland, OR in the spring of 1941. they then moved to California in 1950 where they settled in Lakeside, CA in 1952. At the age of 18 she enlisted into the U.S. Army. while stationed in Ft Eustis, VA she met the man she would marry a few short years later, the late Harry D. Fowler (1936 ~ 2010).
