She was born in Prince William County on May 25th, 1928, daughter of the late Myrtle Mae (Rowe) Walter and John T. Walter. She was raised in Nokesville, VA where she lived for her entire life. She worked at the Bank of Nokesville, then moved to United Virginia Bank in Manassas where she retired after 25 years.
