Roosevelt Taylor, Sr. was born in Hallsville, Texas on February 19, 1936, to Johnnie B. Taylor, Sr and Gertrude Taylor. On November 16, 2025, Roosevelt passed away quietly at his home, surrounded by his family. Roosevelt attended Galilee High School and Bishop College leading to professions of Master Electrician and entrepreneur. He loved deer hunting, starting new projects, and traveling. However, his passion was working and making money. As an enterprising businessman, Roosevelt formed Taylor Electric, LUCO Inc, Electrification by LUCO, Mensch Timber, Mr. T's Bail Bonding Service, and was a successful rancher. He met Marie Davis, and they were married in Marshall, TX 70 years ago....
