Frank Warren Blakely of Stilwell, Kansas, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2022 at the age of 78 at his home with his family by his side. Frank courageously battled cancer for 8 months with strength and dignity, setting the example for all who knew him. Frank was born to Frank and Alice (Sally) Blakely on April 19th, 1943 in Waterbury, Connecticut. He received his degree in accounting from Miami of Ohio University and his masters at the University of Indiana. Frank was drafted into the Army in 1968 and met (wife) Joan Blodgett, while stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas. They were married June 26, 1971 in Keats, Kansas. Chuck Spivey, 89, Olathe, KS passed away on Wednesday, January 8th, 2020. Chuck was the founding pastor of Knox United Presbyterian Church in Overland Park, KS and served the Lord there from 1962 to his retirement in 1992. In retirement Chuck served as Parish Associate Pastor at the Treasure Hills Presbyterian Church in Harlingen. Visitation to celebrate his life will be at 11am on Saturday, January 18th, in Overland Park, KS. A memorial service and burial will immediately follow. Lola Catherine Browning passed away peacefully at her home on October 12, 2019 at age 97. Lola was born in Chicago, IL to Carlo and Corinna Tonelli in 1922, the youngest of four children. Her parents immigrated to the U.S. from the Tuscany region of Italy. Lola enjoyed a beautiful marriage to Clarence Sheldon Browning for 65 years, until his passing in 2008. They met in California while he was in the Army and in 1943 married in Santa Barbara. Our mother, Carolyn Stover, quietly left us on July 19th at the age of 94. A long-time resident of Wichita, KS, she and her husband of 66 years, George Stover, moved to Brookdale Place in Overland Park, KS in 2007. Carol's passing is preceded by George. She is survived by her son, Ron Stover, and her daughter, Denise (Stover) Bade, as well as their spouses, her grandchildren and great-grandsons.
