Thomas J. Higgins, Jr. of Kensington died peacefully and surrounded by his loving family on Dec. 4, 2024 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. He was 78 years old. Tom was born in New Britain to Thomas and Jean (McBride) Higgins. Tom grew up in New Britain, attended Saint Mary's School and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in 1964. Tom continued his education, attending Central Connecticut State College, which is where he met the love of his life, Jeanne. Born in Hartford, the son of the late Tadeusz and Mary Ann (Zapor) Peron, he lived most of his life in New Britain. He was employed as a Mechanical Draftsman at TLD Ace Company in Windsor for 30 years. Peter Leon Fusari, 82, of New Britain, died peacefully on August 5, 2024. Peter was an honest, loyal, kind, easy-going man with striking pale blue eyes.
