Lois was born March 19, 1932 in Watertown, daughter of the late Herbert F. and Dorothea (Prenzlow) Schmeling. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Watertown and educated through the Watertown Public School District, graduating in 1950. He was born on October 7, 1963 in East Chicago, Indiana to the late James and Catherine (Smith) LeClair. James enjoyed competing in the Special Olympics running track, playing Bocce Ball, and bowling. He was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Badgers.
