Born to George and Maxine Rich in Idaho Falls, ID. Linda was a woman who loved to sing and surround herself with music. She was an active member in both her church choirs in Omaha, NE and Rio Verde, AZ, and could often be heard singing around the home and in the car. Raised in Aberdeen, SD, Linda graduated from Aberdeen Central High School in 1960. She attended Northern State College for one year before moving on to Clarkson College of Nursing in Omaha, graduating in 1964. Linda met her husband, Ron, a medical student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, during this time and the couple married in September 1964. Douglas Stephen Lash, 72, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on October 7th after courageously battling Alzheimer's and, more recently, multiple myeloma. Doug was born in Council Bluffs, IA, to Frances Marshall and Donald Lash. After graduating from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1966, Doug attended Lawrence University in Appleton, WI, and Dana College in Blair, NE. Doug graduated from Creighton University School of Law.
