Robert Paul Dyer, "Bob", age 61, of Salem, passed away unexpectedly at home on February 1, 2022. Born on March 3, 1960 in New Haven, he was a son of Paul F. Dyer, Sr. and the late Helen (Rogers) Malavenda. Bob was a proud veteran having enlisted with the US Army following his 1978 graduation from Sheehan High School in Wallingford, CT. He served in active duty from 1978 - 1982 and following with the Army Reserves until 1984. He lived in Westerly, R.I., before moving to his home in Salem. Bob worked as an Electrical Technician at Electric Boat in Groton for several years until a back injury curtailed his employment.
