Patti L. Anderson, age 61, of Plymouth, WI (formerly of Kenosha), passed away on June 9, 2024 at Pine Haven Christian Living in Sheboygan Falls after a courageous battle with Brain Cancer for a few years. She was born on October 6, 1962 in Sturgeon Bay, WI, a daughter to Karen Anderson (nee Tess) and the late John Anderson. David's primary profession was as a computer project manager for G.T.E. Data Services in California and Indiana. Barbara Ann Flannery, 77, formally of Beloit, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2023 with her husband holding her hand. Barbara was currently residing at The Waterford of Plymouth. John Slomka Jr., 91, died 5-4-2023, at Plymouth Health Services. Born in South Milwaukee 10-13-1931, son of the late John Sr. and Sophie (Rodaks) Slomka. He graduated from South Milwaukee HS in 1949. He served in the US Air Force 1952-1956 and worked his entire career at Bucyrus-Eire in South Milwaukee. He enjoyed repairing televisions, golfing, going to AZ, and even built his own boat. Rev. Howard J. Johnson, age 95, of Lake Ellen, Cascade, WI, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2023 at his home. He was born on June 24, 1927 in Milwaukee, WI, a son of the late George M. and Helen (Frelka) Johnson. His decision to enter priesthood, found him enrolling at St. Francis Minor Seminary in St. Francis, WI, and then continued his education at St. Francis Major Seminary. Duane was born in Milwaukee, a son of the late George and Carol (Schott) Kopecky and graduated from James Madison High School in 1971. He worked until his recent illness as a semi-truck operator with YRC Freight primarily in southern Wisconsin. Duane actively served Teamsters Local 200 since February 28, 1979 which acknowledged Duane as being a "leader with Teamsters Local 200 and a model of a Union Brother". Marie Himley Sartori, age 103, passed away Jun. 5, 2022. Marie grew up in Madison, WI, and met the love of her life, Joe Sartori, at UW-Madison, and they were married on Jun. 28, 1941. They settled in Plymouth, WI, raised nine children, and later enjoyed their retirement in Jupiter, FL. Marie loyally supported Joe throughout his career in the cheese industry. Joe co-founded S&R Cheese Corp. now known as Sartori Company in 1939, and married Marie two years later. Marie was an avid reader and loved classical music and the arts. Rita Jane Griebel, RN, age 72, passed away on May 21, 2022 after an unexpected health catastrophe. Rita was born Sept. 16, 1949 in Braunschweig, Germany. In 1953 she traveled with her parents to the United States and Plymouth, WI became home. Rita graduated from Plymouth HS in 1967 and went on to study nursing at St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing in Madison, WI. Rita began her nursing career at St. Mary's Hospital as an ICU nurse in 1970. She was one of the original members of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, beginning a lifelong journey in ICU nursing and with St. Mary's Hospital.
